Master Jean Jacques Machado
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Master Jean Jacques Machado is a legend of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and cousin to the iconic Gracie family. With over 50 years of experience, he dominated every major Brazilian tournament from 1982 to 1992 before bringing his art to the U.S., where he helped spark the Jiu Jitsu revolution.
A World Champion, ADCC Hall of Famer, and 8th Degree Black Belt under Master Rickson Gracie, Jean Jacques continues to inspire students worldwide from his academy in Los Angeles. His celebrity students include Joe Rogan, Keanu Reeves, Chuck Norris, Russell Peters, Travis Barker, and Tori Spelling.
Widely regarded as one of the most technical and influential instructors of all time, Master Jean Jacques Machado remains a true ambassador of the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle.

We are located in the City of Colleyville right in the heart of the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Our academy offers world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instruction for kids and adults of all ages. Classes are led by Professor Eric Acha, a second degree black belt directly under Master Jean Jacques Machado.
